We stayed in the Family Executive Suite and it was wonderful. Had a look at some of the other rooms and they have many other combinations available. Breakfast spread was a delight, and all other meals we had were tasty, and had a fresh, home cooked feel about them. If you are looking for an affordable, comfortable and home away from home feel, then the Umthunzi Hotel should be your go to.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Won’t be returning. Had water pumps running way past midnight and have hardly slept. Pumps started early this morning with banging if equipment. These pumps suppling water to the building and are placed right out side our room door. About a know. Problem and nothing has been done to rectify. Room 26A is not fit to be rented out with these pumps located outside the room. We won’t be back.
