Our stay was during hubby and our little one's birthday 🎂. We had a seaview family room, which was fabulous. The service was indeed impacable because our room had cold water but the staff was quick to respond and even gave us a room to take a bath 🛁...the breakfast buffet was scrumptious

The room was neat and clean.
The problem was with the hotel staff.
Reception refused to provide an additional bath towel despite numerous requests.
There was literally a single bath towel in the room to be utilised for the full duration of the stay.I was not allowed into the restaurant dressed in pjs despite the fact that the restaurant was completely empty.
The pillows were very uncomfortable.

I had a great experience at Mthunzi Hotel & Conference. The service was excellent, the environment was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made for a very pleasant stay. The staff were welcoming and professional, which really stood out for me.
One area that could be improved is the food menu. It would be great to see more variety, especially options like fish, vegetarian meals, and a wider selection of salads. That said, there are also good restaurants within walking distance that offer nice food, which is convenient.
Overall, I had a 5-star experience and would definitely recommend it.
