Terms and Conditions for Umthunzi Hotel Competition: “Leave a Review and Win a Free Stay”
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before participating in the Umthunzi Hotel competition. By entering the competition, participants indicate their acceptance and agreement to these terms and conditions.

The Umthunzi Hotel competition, "Leave a Review and Win a Free Stay," is open to all guests who have stayed at the Umthunzi Hotel and have left a review on either Booking.com, Tripadvisor or Google during the competition period.

The competition period will run for the next 12 months, starting from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.

For each stay you experience at Umthunzi Hotel during the competition period, you have the opportunity to leave a review on Booking.com, Tripadvisor or Google, or all 3.

To be eligible for the competition, the review must be honest, authentic, and in accordance with the guidelines and policies of Booking.com, Tripadvisor or Google. Any reviews that are deemed as fake, misleading, or violate the platform's terms of service will be disqualified.

The winner of the competition will be selected randomly. One winner will be chosen each month during the competition period, resulting in a total of 12 winners.

The free stay prize includes a complimentary stay at the Umthunzi Hotel for two persons for 1 night.

The prize does not include any additional expenses, including but not limited to transportation, meals, beverages, or any other incidental costs incurred during the stay. The winner will be responsible for any such expenses.

The free stay prize is subject to availability and excludes peak periods. The winner will need to coordinate with the Umthunzi Hotel to select a suitable date for their stay, which is subject to availability at the hotel's discretion. Peak periods may include holidays, weekends, or other specified dates determined by Umthunzi Hotel.

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.

By participating in the competition, all entrants agree to allow Umthunzi Hotel to use their name and any submitted reviews for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website content, and other marketing materials.

Umthunzi Hotel reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition, its rules, or any other aspect without prior notice or liability.

By participating in the competition, all participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and any decisions made by Umthunzi Hotel.

The competition and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Umthunzi Hotel operates.
